I'm running NetSight client on Mountain Lion. I can't remember exactly what I
did, but it was a struggle.

IIRC, I had to install Java 7 then change all the WebStart plugins back to 6.
Remember to dumb down the security settings while you're doing this.

Subject: Re: [enterasys] NetSight Client on Macintosh?

Hi,
Thanks for the replies. I tried both safari and firefox with the same results.

It's a new MAC w/ 10.8.2. The server is Windows.

Probably something with the Java version--not sure how to detangle
that. I have not had the opportunity to use a Mac in (too) many years.

I had issues with Ubuntu awhile back too-- it stopped working after some
upgrade/patch that affected java.

Regards,

Tricia

I have it working on OS X 10.7 Lion. The server is a Red Hat Linux

yet for NetSight.
