sorry if i am doing this in the wrong place but here's the thing I have switch
over to ubuntu on on laptop running 11.4 while my other laptop is still win7 i
have a 1tb hard drive that i save just about everything to and i can't for the
life of me figure out how to make them see one another over my home net work. i
know i have read some place that people would like to see an easy wizard for
this . i tried setting things with in samba fallowed things step by step but
it still did not work . i like to think i am rather apt at things like this but
i just could not figure this one out. If you all really ubuntu to shine as an
alternative to win and other os then i think this is something that must be
worked on. if there is an easy way to set up home networks would you all let me
know thanks for your time.
PS all in all i think ubuntu is way easier to run , work with , manage and is
pretty much better in all ways then windows keep up the good work!!!
