Everything works fine and added/modified entries from the provider are
immediately replicated to the consumer, but it doesn't work with deleted
entries - if I delete an entry from the provider it gets never deleted from the
consumer.
According to

it was fixed in 2.4.30: "Fixed slapd syncrepl delete handling
(ITS#7052,ITS#7162)" and was caused by a regression by ITS#6024
(http://www.openldap.org/its/index.cgi/Software%20Bugs?id=7162;page=3), however
I'm not sure whether ITS#6024 was committed into the slapd package (can't find
it in
http://changelogs.ubuntu.com/changelogs/pool/main/o/openldap/openldap_2.4.28-1.1ubuntu4/changelog).
