Verified that fixing the incorrect attribute((nonnull)) annotations restored the lost thr != NULL check.
The incorrect annotations have been reported upstream as http://bugs.mysql.com/bug.php?id=74842. Marking this bug as a copy of that one, although it might be benign in Oracle MySQL currently. We will respin the Utopic packages to include this fix. Setting the target milestone for the fix to the next Percona Server release, that's when the other platforms will receive the code change. ** Bug watch added: MySQL Bug System #74842 http://bugs.mysql.com/bug.php?id=74842 ** Changed in: percona-server/5.6 Status: In Progress => Fix Committed ** Changed in: percona-server/5.6 Milestone: None => 5.6.22-70.1 ** Tags added: upstream ** Tags added: innodb ** Also affects: percona-server/5.5 Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Changed in: percona-server/5.5 Status: New => Invalid ** Also affects: mysql-server via http://bugs.mysql.com/bug.php?id=74842 Importance: Unknown Status: Unknown -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server/Client Support Team, which is subscribed to MySQL.
