Question #247069 on samba4 in Ubuntu changed: https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/samba4/+question/247069
paula williams posted a new comment: Hi, Yes, I installed Samba4 on my home XP because I needed to share files and resources with other devices on my network. Samba4 provides better compatibility and security compared to older versions. To solve the problem, I followed these steps: Downloaded the Samba4 installer for Windows XP from the official website. Installed Samba4 by following the installation wizard. Configured Samba4 to share the folders and files I needed. Set up user accounts and permissions for secure access. This resolved the issue, and now I can easily share files and resources with other devices on my network using Samba4. -- You received this question notification because your team Ubuntu Server/Client Support Team is an answer contact for samba4 in Ubuntu. -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~enterprise-support Post to : enterprise-support@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~enterprise-support More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
