Hi there,

You can safely remove those leftover files by using the "autoremove"
command. Just run:

Copy code
sudo apt autoremove
This will clean up any unused dependencies and should remove the remaining 
Samba-related files. It won't affect your Ubuntu installation. Good luck with 
your file sharing setup!
