Looking at the release schedule there is a patch due for 45.5.1 on the 12th of Dec 2016 which I would assume is to default to rejecting these certificates.
Is there any plan to keep the support for SHA1 around as a configurable support for legacy systems through a config setting? Mvh Martin Gustafsson H & M HENNES & MAURITZ AB. IT DEPARTMENT. From: Enterprise [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Alex, Nicole L Sent: Monday, February 08, 2016 11:40 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [Mozilla Enterprise] SHA1 Certificates I've seen a couple of dates thrown around for when Mozilla is planning to reject SHA1 SSL certificates. Based on the current ESR schedule, the dates fall after 45 ESR releases but before 52 ESR is scheduled to release. Does anyone know if Mozilla is going to issue this in a security update for 45 ESR or will we not see it until 52 ESR?
