Did you ever find a solution for that? I call myself placing a
customized xulstore.json file in the correct location in the
installation path, but I suspect that I must have something wrong.
Assuming an installation on a 32-bit OS, here are the paths I tried:
C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\defaults\profile\xulstore.json
C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\defaults\preferences\xulstore.json
C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\defaults\pref\xulstore.json
C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\browser\defaults\profile\xulstore.json
C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\browser\defaults\preferences\xulstore.json
In my case I'm looking to also display the Bookmarks Toolbar and I've
not found a way to do that outside of this file.
where it’s common that users start every session without an existing profile.
It becomes important that all the first run stuff is pre-configured.
Same situation here.
