When it started out with the first Enterprise version of Fx the list serv was excellent but it has really deteriorated since then. Yet I am still using Thunderbird but missing so MANY messages. Anyhow, I FAR PREFER Mozilla's cert store. It is up to date always. Microsoft's cert store is a nightmare on Windows 8.0 Pro. I can't update it from the original when I bought this machine in Nov 2012. I can't understand why you would prefer something from the corrupt Microsoft that most of us want dead as soon as possible. I know many knowledgeable Windows users who also cannot update their Microsoft cert store. These are IT professionals. Microsoft is a disaster these days caring only about spying on its users. It is not a reliable, trust worthy company any longer and for you to praise it over the responsible Mozilla that does properly update their cert store yet doesn't spy on users and demand monthly fees for using Windows 10 after the hapless new computer users have already paid for it through their OEMs makes no sense. Besides, last I checked Microsoft had well over 300 certs in its store for USA users. That is absurd. Windows 8 Pro shipped (Nov 16 2012) with about 30 plus certs in the Windows store. I have no need of the vast majority of the 300 plus since then Microsoft added certs. If I need a cert I don't have I can download and install it. I seldom visit sites outside the USA so I have no need of all those certs Microsoft clutters their cert store with these days.
