That's the link I was using to set it up. However, I can't get it to auto-enable itself, FF 45.5.1ESR.
I've closed Firefox and tried moving the pref file I created (scopes.js) into: C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\defaults\pref C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\defaults\preferences C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\defaults\browser\defaults\preferences C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\defaults\browser\defaults\prefs and it doesn't seem to do anything (I load about:config and check, it's not set.) What I can't figure out is if it's even trying to source this file when it starts up, is there some sort of startup logging I can turn on in Firefox? I also read you have to unpack the xpi (which I tried, it made no difference, whether it was packed or unpacked, it showed up as disabled.) Out of curiousity, I manually set extension.autoDisableScopes to 0 in about:config and restarted Firefox and it still did not enable (it is disabled in about:addons) I'm quite confused by this.
