Hi Klaus, (sorry for the duplicate e-mail) I'm not entirely sure whether the following is a default part of Firefox or an artefact from when a previous admin set this up. In our system, the lock file prevents a user opening another session of Firefox on a different PC using the network profile. When they try to access it from another machine, they get an error message that Firefox is already running.
They can't open it on the second PC until they've closed the session on the first PC. If, during testing, you don't get this behaviour, I'll examine our set up to work out the extra step needed. But I wonder what happens when the same user is logged in on more than one PC. Can concurrent access destroy some of these files, or does Firefox ensure that this is safe? _______________________________________________ Enterprise mailing list [email protected] https://mail.mozilla.org/listinfo/enterprise To unsubscribe from this list, please visit https://mail.mozilla.org/listinfo/enterprise or send an email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe" _______________________________________________ Enterprise mailing list [email protected] https://mail.mozilla.org/listinfo/enterprise To unsubscribe from this list, please visit https://mail.mozilla.org/listinfo/enterprise or send an email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe"
