Hi Jason,

I think this conclusion refers to gmp itself.

We simply copy the 2 gmp-folders into the profile and set some additional keys in prefs.js to prohibit the download at user-side:
user_pref("media.gmp-gmpopenh264.abi", "x86-msvc-x64");
user_pref("media.gmp-gmpopenh264.lastUpdate", 2147483647);
user_pref("media.gmp-gmpopenh264.version", "1.6");

Hi Klaus,

some more notes:
- FF 52 removes Adobe Primetime support -> Therefore admins don't have to copy the files or disable it any more.
- FF 52 captive-portal detection implemented
- Since FF45 Widevine Content Decryption Module was added -> admins will copy the files or disable it.
- it seems that blocklist files have changed (I don't know when). There is still a blocklist.xml in browser\ folder, but in the profile there are 2 new jsons blocklist-addons.json and blocklist-plugins.json

Btw. does anybody have a list of all notifications and all dumb questions that this thing asks, and how to disable all of them?

For example an earlier version must have started to ask whether I want to search from or get suggestions in the address bar. How can I disable that (question and search)? When I want to search, I put that into the search box, that's what that box is for.
