Thanks, that's it.
Some Sharepoint intranet webservers have not been correctly configured that way (no problem for Internet Explorer).
And if I visit one intranet site which is correctly configured, then Firefox saves the intermediate certificate in its store and so just by visiting once such a good website, I then can open the other intranet sites without a problem - Firefox shows a green certificate icon.
But we are now correcting the webserver configuration, so it is right for all our servers.
