I'm using the CCK2. The homepage is set correctly, but the browser does not open to my page. I do have the browser.fixup.dns_first_for_single_words set to true, but again, last time I checked this preference only works for secure sites (look at the code in MXR).

This should prevent FF from searching "localsite" in google. (ITID) (FBI) Sent: 12 December 2017 13:49 To: [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> Subject: [Mozilla Enterprise] ESR 52.5 and Intranet hosts I know this issue has been brought up before, and I'd have to see if there is a bug for it or not. Our default homepage is http://hostname, as opposed to http://hostname.company.tld. In other words, it's an Intranet site. Firefox does not like Intranet sites. In looking at the code, there is a preference to allow Intranet host lookups, but according to the code, that only works for secure sites (HTTPS). We also use PAC files. I have to go back and verify, because I'm not sure, but in ESR 38 and/or 45, the Intranet somehow seemed to work. Now that I'm testing ESR 52, specifically 52.5, it won't work at all. In fact, the sites I'm getting with the appended "www" and ".com" are pretty nasty, so this is a big problem, and it's preventing me from releasing a new browser to my customers. Anyone have any experience getting this to work? Anyone else seeing this issue?
