second browser in my organization (IE is default currently)."

See my notes below. My answers are inline... with >>>

For Firefox 50 and below, you would use:
https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/Firefox/Enterprise_deployment_before_60

For Firefox 60 and above, there is a new policy engine as one option, and other
options if want to go with commercial software.
https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/Firefox/Enterprise_deployment

I would like to know the best way to go about the deployment:

1. Is there an admx template for Active Directory for policy restrictions? What
all settings can be controlled through this template?

>> 1. Firefox 60 and later will have some support for ADMX policies, but only

>> PolicyPak at
>> https://www.policypak.com/products/manage-mozilla-firefox-with-group-policy.html
>> . A good starting video would be: https://youtu.be/xuWm4jch3qE

2. Can we control add-on deployments for all staff and prevent them from
installing additional add-ons?
>> The FF60 policy engine appears like it can block ALL add-ons, but maybe not

3. We have multiple preference settings changed in "about:config" like
network.automatic-ntlm-auth.trusted-uris etc that we would have to modify for
all users. How can we achieve this?

Your inputs and assistance would be highly appreciated.
