Hi,

We are running with FF ESR 52.9.0 which seems to be stable in our
environment. Now, We are planning to deploy FF ESR Quantum 60.2.1 but we
observed that memory consumption got increased dramatically compare to old
Firefox ESR versions ( Non- Quantum)

As per our finding, Quantum consuming high memory (50% more compare to non
Quantum versions). We found this is due to multi process architecture.

Now, Planning to disable the multi process feature and set default process
count to 1 as follows

1)"browser.tabs.remote.autostart" set to False"
2) "dom.ipc.processCount" set to "1"

Does the above two changes will help us to reduce high memory consumption ?
Does those changes create any harm to browser? or is there any way to
reduce high memory consumption?

Please suggest on this.
