It'd be nice if the mimetypes.rdf could be programmatically generated so
that I could setup common types and how to handle them.

will cause the PDFs to not be shown in the browser. There is a policy
that controls that as well.
The user will still be asked what to do. We don't have a way to
prevent that dialog (yet)
