I have the same problem here but rather than ask them to update the central store in AD each time, I just do the following:
- Extract the Firefox policy templates to c:\windows\PolicyDefinitions\ - Ensure that HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\Group Policy\EnableLocalStoreOverride"=dword:00000001 - Run Group Policy Management on that machine and edit away. Of course, you have to have local admin privileges on the machine to do the above, but it saves me so much time, especially when testing new templates not yet found in the central store. Hope this helps. Jonas M. Hunziker Information Technology Project Manager P: (270) 831-9717 [Henderson_horiz_RGB] 2660 S. Green Street - Henderson, KY 42420 Never Underestimate You. That is more of a task than you’d think, so I’d like to know if there are any pending updates to the template before I make my request. I’d hate to have them do it, then need to update it soon after. Thank you! -T-
