Dear Mike, same problems after modifying the cck2.cfg with a firefox 52.9 esr and cck 2.4. I opened the console (“Shift+Ctrl+K”, right?) but sorry, I am not familiar with it and I don’t know what you need.. What do you need to know? What should I copy?

You build on 52 and the package generated should work with 68. If it doesn't, check the javascript console after the startup error and let me know what it says. Firefox changes under the cover and your files need to be updated. I've released a new CCK2 that has Firefox 68 compatibility https://github.com/mkaply/cck2wizard/releases/tag/2.4 Firefox 68 will be the last ESR that supports CCK2, so I strongly recommend moving to policies (and letting me know if you need things that aren't there).
