Even though I changed the desktop icon, it's launched as Firefox and
double clicking the shortcut adds to the existing entry.
My guess is something else was configured for that version of Firefox,
but I don't know what it would be.

In addition, when we launched firefox twice, we had 2 buttons

firefox and we no longer have 2 detached but combined buttons.
