Hi all,

On January 26, 2021, Firefox will end support for Adobe Flash in Firefox,
as announced back in 2017:

https://blog.mozilla.org/futurereleases/2017/07/25/firefox-roadmap-flash-end-life/

This will improve Firefox performance and security. Adobe and other
browsers will also end support for Flash in January and we are working
together to ensure a smooth transition for all.

Firefox version 84 will be the final version to support Flash. Firefox
version 85 (release date January 26, 2021) will ship without Flash support.
There will be no setting available to re-enable Flash support.

While Firefox ESR version 78 will still load the Flash plugin after January
26, the Flash plugin itself will stop loading Flash content after January
12, 2021. However, enterprise administrators will have the option to enable
domain-level whitelist support via Flash Player configuration files. Adobe
calls this Flash domain-level whitelist “enterprise enablement”. See
Adobe’s Flash Player End of Life Enterprise information page for more
details:

https://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/enterprise-end-of-life.html

Firefox ESR version 78 will be the final version of Firefox ESR to support
Flash. Mozilla will continue to provide security updates to Firefox ESR
version 78 until October 2021. The next ESR version (Firefox ESR version
91) will ship without Flash support. See the Firefox Release Calendar wiki
for 2021 release dates:

For enterprise customers that need help transitioning their Flash content
to other supported technologies or require Flash Player licensing support
after 2020, please contact Adobe’s official distribution licensing
partner, HARMAN, for more information about their commercial support
