To set up, for example, 5 meetings with the same criteria, just set up an event that is recurring on a daily (or weekly) basis for a total of 5 times. Then, each individual event may be dragged around to the proper time and date. If one meeting is cancelled, then the individual event may be deleted. If the time of only one meeting changes, it may be dragged around easily using the week view. It seems that this is about the only way that a calendar event may be duplicated apart from a script.
I hadn’t noticed this. The trouble is, when I drag one instance of a recurring series, it seems to always end up as being at 12:00 AM! Editing & saving “just this one” doesn’t change it. It stays at 12:00 AM.
That was in month view. I’m sure it works better in week or day view with real demarcation points. But when I tried it on the 12AM one (now in week view), my computer froze. I just tied again after restart: again i get the option to edit it, but it just won’t move. It’s stuck at 12AM. I’ll have to delete it if I can.
Yes, deleting just that one worked.
