Hi folks,
I have a 'me contact' set up for myself, and I dragged it to the desktop to
make a VCF. I then opened that VCF in Entourage, and accidentally saved it.
I then had two "me contacts" (both with the "me contact" icon, and both
marked as being me). So, I switched another of my contacts to be the "me
contact" (so I could delete the additional copy of my own contact; you can't
delete contacts marked as the "me contact"), deleted one of mine, and
switched the remaining one back to being my "me contact".
However, even though my contact is still marked as being the "me contact" in
the Contact menu, it doesn't show the special icon. And, if I include myself
in the To recipients of an email, I get the online contact icon. Also,
occasionally when I select my contact and look in the Contact menu, it
doesn't seem to be marked as being me, though trying to choose the menu item
"This Contact is me" behaves as if it is indeed already me.
What's going on with that, and how can I fix it?
