Perhaps the Script Menu names functioned this way in Outlook Express also and I never noticed, but I found this very interesting. If you place an alias to a script in the Script Menu Items folder, the alias is resolved and the menu name (and keyboard shorcut) are selected from the original's filename, NOT the alias that is in the Script Menu Items folder. My thought in doing this was to store all of my AppleScripts in one central location, reducing the number of places I have to backup or hunt for scripts when I'm looking for reference and just assigning keyboard shortcuts to the aliases. But it doesn't work that way. The menu follows the alias and picks the menu item name from the original. I had assumed, incorrectly, that the Script Menu functioned much as Leonard Rosenthol's OSA Menu does (with at least one more option as for keyboard shortcuts available). -- Remo Del Bello -- To unsubscribe: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To search the archives: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.boingo.com/>
