This was brought up after OE 4.5 was released but was not include in 5.0 and
it was 'kind of' promised to be included in 'next' release...
So Dan, what's up?
What I would really like to have, is a kind of language manager, were I
could make configurations containing Dictionary, Signature and Attribution
settings and then tie a 'language' to my contacts.
So when I start a new mail, Entourage would set up my 'language' specific
options depending who it is addressed to. (of course a default would be used
if no recipient a selected)
When I create a message were the recipient are not in the address book,
Entourage could map language configurations due to the recipients domain.
This would save me a lot of trips to the Tools->Change Spelling menu,
Attribution setting (which I don't use due to this matter) and the Signature
setting.
Most of the users outside USA use two or even more languages and this would
really help us be slightly more efficient, I find myself switching between
English and Swedish almost every time I write an email...
I guess this would not be included in a minor rev. so a simple addition to
let scripts select dictionary would be great until You have the time for my
'Language Manager' :-D
While on the Feature Whishing trail...
How about a option to run a script pre/post syncing to the palm?
And also I'd like to second the wish that someone else had to make a rule
action 'Don't trigger notification', I guess most of You can see it would
come in handy dealing with mailing lists an stuff.
While Your at it why not add 'Trigger notification' too, that would trigger
the configured notification when it's turned of.
I guess it's getting close to Christmas... ;-)
Otherwise my switch to Office 2001 have been great, no bugs found (yet) and
Entourage are as slick as OE ever was, great work guys!!!
