Did you read the Read Me? The name and location of your Palm data file is critically important.

Subject: Wit's End [Palm import tips, anyone?]

OK, I made an appeal last week, but I'll assume no one had an answer [or
you've all decided to spite me].

Has anyone had Palm import strangeness? When running the Import Assistant, I
select "Palm Desktop" and proceed to step 2.

I select all four check-boxes on step two [contacts, tasks, events, and
notes].

After clicking on the right arrow, I'm presented with an Open dialog box.
The title is "Open: Microsoft Entourage" and the only two buttons are
"cancel" and "open".

The problem is that no files are listed. [Methinks it's looking for a
specific file with a specific name and type/creator.] I've navigated
everywhere looking for something that will appease this damned box to no
avail. After selecting "cancel" the assistant mentions that Entourage did
not finish importing [obviously].

[When I say "everywhere" I mean all of the folders and sub-folders within
Microsoft Office 2001, Microsoft User Data, Palm Desktop, Preferences, and
Extensions. Also, OE5 was imported perfectly; not even rule corruption!]

Does anyone out there [I'm starting to lean towards people with
"microsoft.com" in the their email addresses] have any idea as to what
Entourage is looking for?

Is there another way to import Palm Desktop data [well, other than manual,
that is] ?

thx.
