Hey I ran into the same problem, and here's the fix (worked for me)

After import, open Entourage identity folder and remove the (Rules) move it
to the desktop for now just to see if this is the problem. Then rebuild the
Entourage database (when opening hold down option) after this trash all (Old
databases and try to retrieve mail. I think they have a bug when importing
rules.
If this works, you will just have to rewrite all those Rules as I did, and I
had a lot.
