You'll want to download the Microsoft Office Quickview.  It runs in your
control strip.  It allows you to see upcoming appointments and tasks, make
new tasks and address book entries, and open your task list and address
book, and it will display reminders on the screen if you don't have an
Office application running.

I've completely eliminated Instant Palm Desktop.  The only thing I keep Palm
Desktop around for is setting my conduit prefs.  If someone could tell me
how to do that without Palm Desktop, that's be quite swell!
