I took my modified email sounds from OE 5 and they worked right away with E.
No changes necessary. I don't know if there's any easy way to edit E sound
sets, but I used ResEdit to make my custom sound set.
To use ResEdit, make a copy of the E sound set and open it in ResEdit. Then
open any sounds you want to add to the set in ResEdit; they've got to be
System 7 sound files. You can then copy and paste the sound resources into
the E sound set.
If you want more detail, I could probably come up with it.
