Greetings all,
I'm new to this list, and I'm glad I found it (what does it have to do
with Oingo Boingo though? ;-)
I have a problem with the Save As Draft button, in that it works
differently than the Command-S Save command. What happens is this- I get
100+ emails per day. Most are junk, but out of the 100 there are probably
10-20 or so I need to get back to. I don't always have time to respond
immediately, so what I do is hit REPLY, then Save as Draft. The problem is
that this closes the window, forcing me to go dig back in the drafts folder
to actually respond (maybe half an hour later). I would like the Save as
Draft button to work like the Save command, and just save it to the Drafts
folder but keep the message open. This would keep me from procrastinating
on a reply, since the windows would still be on my desktop.
I know I could go up to the Save menu, or take my hand off the mouse and
hit Command-S, but doing this 20-30 times/day would get annoying, especially
when there ought to be a way to add a button (or change the functionality of
the Save As Draft button). I figure there ought to be some AppleScript way
to do it.
