I imagine it does. Just give the applet more memory (double). Or if you
expect to use it only when Entourage is open, save it as a compiled script
and put it into the scripts folder. With an Address Book of that size, plus
frequent message searches, you should be giving Entourage itself a lot more
memory in any case. I only have a few hundred contacts, but I keep Entourage
set at 15-16 MB RAM. It works great like that. If you have the RAM, or don't
mind having to close down one or two apps during the day, I'd suggest
something similar.
