1. Research and writing. I receive Entourage Talk as a digest, so I clip
messages useful to me and paste them into Notes, linked to the Entourage
Contact for ET. That way all the Entourage notes are easy to find. I also
clip material while visiting Web sites; those I link either to a Task or a
File or Event, depending on content.
2. Drafting Web pages. Notes is a crude HTML editor, because you can't
insert objects or create tables, but it's a place to write or paste
formatted text, and link it to a Contact, Task, Event, or File. Later on, I
either paste that material into a Message or into PageMill for editing and
uploading.
Unfortunately the Save and Save As... Options in Entourage are very limited.
The only object you can save as a Web page is a Calendar. But often it would
be useful if we could save Notes as Web pages, and also if we could save
Messages in Text, HTML, RTF, and Word 5, 6, etc.
