Apple Data Detectors can do this if you include the URL in a block of
selected text, although at the moment, there does not appear to be a simple
"Copy URL to Clipboard" action defined. There is one to copy it to the
clipboard as an HTML link, but not a simple copy! I can probably adapt the
action script easily to just copy the plain URL, if that's what you'd like
to see.
Of course, ADD also includes many other options such as bookmarking or
opening the URL in a bunch of browsers (even opening in a new window), or in
URL Manager Pro. Everyone should have ADD installed; it's great stuff.
