I have noticed that I seem to get a lot of messages duplicated on
this list. The headers reveal that the same message (identical
message IDs) gets sent out from the boingo list server twice. One
recent message had these timings:

(in reverse order for clarity)
Message 1:
Received: from lucid.net.nz by lists.boingo.com with SMTP; Wed, 15
Nov 2000 13:44:12 -0800
Received: from [207.46.115.23] (helo=lists.boingo.com)
        by tantalum.btinternet.com with smtp (Exim 3.03 #83)
        id 13wAKU-0000gO-00; Wed, 15 Nov 2000 21:42:55 +0000

Message 2:
Received: from lucid.net.nz by lists.boingo.com with SMTP; Wed, 15
Nov 2000 13:44:12 -0800
Received: from [207.46.115.23] (helo=lists.boingo.com)
        by praseodumium.btinternet.com with smtp (Exim 3.03 #83)
        id 13wAOO-00001G-00; Wed, 15 Nov 2000 21:46:57 +0000

Note that both messages were received by Boingo at the same time
(21:44:12GMT), so with the same message ID it's a fair bet that it
was received only once at Boingo. The list server then proceeds to
send it out twice, first time at 21:42:55, second time at 21:46:57.

Can anyone confirm whether or not they are seeing similar repeats (I
estimate that it's happening with about 5% of messages), or is it
btinternet not acknowledging receipt correctly so that boingo is
quite justified in sending it again?
