Anyone see any difference between QuickView, and Entourage? I would have thought QuickView acted more like a fast Entourage (similar to Now Contact’s QuickContact control panel), but I’m not seeing any difference in speed of accessing the Address Book. I understand that QV is just the address book, but am I missing some point or feature?
For people who are on dial-up modems, with Entourage set to send & receive mail (i.e. dial up) on startup, they can get into their Address Book or Task List without going through all this. If, like me, you have Entourage open all the time on ADSL, cable or T1 anyway, it makes no difference, but to people on dial-up who only open E from time to time during the day, it can make a big difference.
