It runs as soon as the "Receive Mail" command is _initiated_, not when it
finishes. To do what you want, remove the Receive Mail actions. Then open up
the script in a script editor, and right at the beginning (after any
properties or globals that may be declared), insert:
tell application "Microsoft Entourage"
connect to every POP account -- or IMAP account
repeat while connection in progress
delay 1
end repeat
end tell
(or if the first line of your current script is 'tell application "Microsoft
Entourage"', you can just insert the next four lines here and leave off the
'end tell').
