I thought that with OS 9.04 and Office 2001 I would be safe from the
infamous "disk full" error in Word, but I was wrong. It struck today, with a
vengeance.
I have gotten these messages each time I install office 2001. I forget what fixes it, because it can lead to total system freezes that take lots of time to recover from. I wind up turning off everything – the assistant, auto-save, check grammar, and so on, and then live with too many things turned off because I don’t want to risk my data.
This is definitely a bug in Word, it’s not idiosyncratic.
