Annoying Freeze

I experience this amazingly annoying freeze that screws my system.

If a message has one misspelled word, "Peenemunde" for example, when the
message is sent, spell checking will bring up the standard dialog to inform
you it is a potentially misspelled word. If IGNORE is clicked the system
hangs. UGH! The only workaround is to hit CANCEL instead.
