Showing new messages in Bold?

Title: Showing new messages in Bold?

I’ve got a problem trying to toggle new messages to appear in “bold” in both the folder and message lists.  I’ve got that setting on, but irregardless new messages are never bold.

Am I overlooking something obvious?
