KanjiTalk uses a translation of the name - I forget what it is right now ---
フィンだー perhaps. All of the file and folder names are in Japanese, either
the appropriate Japanese name or a katakana translation of the name.
One interesting case is the Chooser, rather than using the katakana
representation of chooser, they changed the program name to "Selector," and
used that katakana.
At any rate, to answer your question, there are no English language names
anywhere in the file system on the Japanese version of MacOS. All
application and folder names have been localized. The same is true for the
Chinese versions of MacOS. I think that all of the system files and folders
have a standard, language independent means of reference, though I do not
know how this works from Applescript.
