I really love Entourage. It does everything I need it to do, with one
exception.
I found the Palm Pilot Menu Extension extremely handy. I am replacing
Palm with Entourage and I want the MOM to have the same (or similar)
functionality to the Palm Extension. It seems to me that this would be a no-brainer.
There should be another field in the Contact list for Display in
MOM just as there was in the Palm Extension, or you could have a
Preference in the MOM extension to show all contacts of one category, and
the user could set up one category to displayed in MOM.
Much, but not all, of what you want is accomplished in the Office QuickView control strip module. Download it from the MS Mac website and give it a try. (It will not let you add individual phone numbers to the pop-up list or call from it, but it has much to offer.)
