Hi Enragers,

I'm trying to determine the most efficient way of managing several form
letters in E.

Here's exactly what I want to do:

- Keep a copy of a form letter (eventually several) in E.
- be able to quickly open, address and edit the form letter, and send it -
while SAVING the original form letter as it was - in it's unmodified form.
(So I can use it again, obviously.)
- Save a copy of the sent form letter to a specified folder.

Templates offer this functionality in other Office apps. (I use an XL
template for my monthly home budget, and just plug in the specifics every
month - it works great.)

Right now, here's what I'm doing:

I have the form letter saved as a draft, with a special category of "Form
Letter" (I'm planning on needing three or four different form letters). When
I want to send one, I select the message in the drafts folder, duplicate it,
then edit, address, and send the duplicate. The original form letter has an
option attached of "after sending, move to ---- folder." Unfortunately, this
option is not carried over to the duplicate message. (I consider this a
flaw, BTW. I think *duplicating* a message should duplicate every aspect of
it, including any options attached.)

I've tried "Save As: Entourage email message," but when double-clicked, the
message which is launched is un-editable. That's no good.

Any ideas as to the best way to handle this situation?
Thanks in advance.
