What with all my requests and complaints, I just wanted to thank Dan for the increased applescripting implementation of Entourage, compared to OE. Even after almost a year of using Entourage (I was a beta tester). I'm still discovering things. I've just done an update of my SMTP Location script that automatically resets your computer's SMTP settings according to your location. Version 1.4 makes it much easier to add or change a single locations settings. look out for it soon at AppleScript Central <http://www.applescriptcentral.com/> or AppleScripts for Entourage & Outlook Express <http://homepage.mac.com/berkowit28/> I thought I'd make an OE version so as not to totally abandon our poorer "relatives" still using OE. But they are indeed poorer here: OE's applescripting can only set the SMTP server, not all the advanced settings, as Entourage's scripting can. Dan and others at MBU evidently implemented these settings as an early priority when scripting Entourage: there will be a lot of iBook and PowerBook Entourage users who will be grateful for this if they have a script which takes advantage of it. Just thought I'd mention it. -- Paul Berkowitz -- To unsubscribe: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To search the archives: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.boingo.com/>
