No it was invented some time back. I'll send off list my version of the
script that creates a dated journal entry in the "Business" category, or if
one exists for the date, appends to it with a time stamp. You can edit the
script to use a different category. I'll get around soon to posting this on
my script web site (see URL below) in the Utilities folder. Someone else
(Glenn Austin) may have already posted a variant on
<http://www.applescriptcentral.com>
that will let you select the category to use each time.
