Every time I try and hold option down while starting Entourage (to rebuild database), I get an error saying I must close other Microsoft Office Programs. I don't have any open when I do this though.It's a poorly-informed error message. You must have Reminders On in Office QuickView. Go to the Office con in your Control Strip and turn Reminders off. Then it will work.
Has anyone experienced this, or does anyone know how to fix it?
Why do you need to rebuild the database?
