Since beginning to use Entourage, I've encountered the following problem with the Entourage/PGP combination. After composing a message with Microsoft Entourage:Mac 2001, and using the PGP menu to encrypt and sign a message, the encryption dialog seem to proceed normally until after the message is to be encrypted. Instead of the encrypted text being inserted in the message, the message is placed in the Outbox, with the un-encrypted (plain text) message. Entourage proceeds to make a network connection to deliver the message. This symptom is repeatable when using the Dvorak keyboard layout specified in the Keyboard Control panel. If the U.S. Keyboard layout is specified, the message is encrypted normally, and *not* immediately placed in the Outbox. The process seems to also work normally with the Dvorak-Qwerty-Cmd keyboard layout. This was not a problem with Outlook Express, so it appears that some feature in Entourage is behind it. It appears that the Dvorak mapping of the command keys is the determining factor. (I tried to find a way to officially submit this through the MS website. All of the dialogs that I found had product lists to choose from, but Entourage was never in the list. I hope this helps to develop a patch.) -- James -- To unsubscribe: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To search the archives: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.boingo.com/>
