You might be thinking of the fact that Entourage will somehow recover a
draft message you have not saved if your Mac crashes and is not shut down
normally. I'm not sure how it does that. It isn't a periodic save, more like
a backup recovery file. If you were to quit Entourage normally, without
saving the message, you'd be asked if you wanted to save or not. If not, it
would be gone. But if you crash, Entourage restores the "unsaved" message.
