I had been having the IE5/Entourage crash problem, so I followed the advice below about rebuilding the Entourage database. Not only did it not fix the crashing problem, but since I performed that action (yesterday), I am having very odd printing behavior from IE5. Pages are printing with 1 to 3 characters overlapped at various places all down the page. I have tried printing from different Web sites which use different fonts, but the problem still occurs. And each time I print, it is the same characters which overlap. I realize it seems unlikely that there could be a connection between the two events (rebuilding the Entrourage database and printing oddly in IE), but the print problem began occurring right after rebuilding the database, and had never occurred before that. Has anyone else had this experience? Can anyone shed any light on it or suggest a fix? I already tried trashing the IE5 preferences. Didn't help. in article [EMAIL PROTECTED], Jeremy Whipple at [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote on 1/19/01 7:15 PM: > in article [EMAIL PROTECTED], Karl Wahlin at > [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote on 01-01-18 6:34 AM: > >> in article [EMAIL PROTECTED], Alastair Johnson at >> [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote on 1/16/01 11:39 AM: >> >>> in article [EMAIL PROTECTED], Matthew Milton Pereira at >>> [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote on 11/1/01 7:27 pm: >>> >>>> >>> I started to have the ie entourage crash after installing 9.1 on my mac and >>> thought it was that then one of the newsgroups said to rebuild the database >>> of entourage along with a number of other things so I thought I would try >>> them one by one, and found that after firstly rebuilding the entourage >>> database by holding down option when launching entourage all my problems had >>> gone and the sun began to shine >>> >> Very Nice!
