I have to say, this is the most phenomenally active list I've ever joined. I
simply don't have the time every day to read all the messages, but
congratulations! there are some excellent people here, with a very sound
knowledge base.
OK - a very obvious question, for which I apologise in advance if it's
already been hammered to death:
Pretty soon, my wife is going to offer me a Palm for my b-day, probably the
rather slinky Vx metal model. Question - will my Entourage Contacts and
Calendar synch happily with it? And also (write to me off-list please) are
there any "must-have" programs for the Palm that I should know about?
The object of the exercise is for the Palm to replace my trusty old battered
leather Filofax, seeing as how I've run up against a brick wall trying to
format my Entourage contacts for printing onto filofax paper, with any app
from the Office 2001 suite (horribly complicated to set up, unintuitive and
rather stupid, and with unpredictable print output).
So the Palm's gonna be used for contacts and appointments, and maybe a
little e-mail now and again, I don't know. Is a Palm the right thing to
have? Or should I look at (shudder) PocketPCs??
