No. "me" or "path to me" will always be a reference to the application
running a compiled script. In this particular case, you might prefer to run
the script(s) in question from an applet or from OSA menu. OSA menu has been
implemented to behave as if its compiled scripts are applets.
You could probably test for specific scripts by finding out which of them
(using their pathnames) is busy (in the Finder), Whichever one is busy is
probably the running script. <untested, but worth a shot>.
